From dog beds and bowls to a designated play area, we've got everything your pup needs to feel right at home.
Get Outside
Dumfries and Galloway has plenty to explore, and the lodge is well placed for it. Take your dog for a walk along the nearby hills, explore the local wildlife, or head to one of the dog-friendly beaches nearby.
We'd recommend walking from the lodge into Gatehouse through the Cally woods, the trail is only about 2 miles each way and you can break it up with a coffee and cake at the Galloway Lodge.
Dog Friendly Beaches
I don't know about your dog, but our dog loves going to the beach, and we're lucky in this area to have a number of great dog-friendly beaches close by.
There is nothing better than long walks along the sandy shores or playing catch with your furry friend. We'd recommend Carrick, Sandgreen and Mossyard. At low tide you can walk from Carrick beach out to Ardwell Island.
For us, that's about as good as it gets, and a big part of why we built these lodges with dogs in mind.
